Art in Greece
For art of ancient Greece it is understood the cultural manifestations of art and architecture in this country since the start of the Iron Age (the eleventh century BC) until the end of the first century BC Before that (the Bronze Age), the art of the Greek mainland and islands (except itself Crete, where there was a different tradition called Minoan art) is known as art Mycenae, and later Greek art, called helenística, is considered integral to the culture of the Roman Empire (Roman art).
